AKA Ziva David on NCIS, about the only show I watch when I am home ... other than ESPN and FOX News' Red Eye. This was from season 6. Ziva rocks, as Mossad assassin on loan to NCIS. And who knew that Mark Harmon's career would last longer than playing Morgan Fairchild's husband in the soap opera, Flamingo Road?

How many of you knew that Mark Harmon is married to Pam Dawber? You know ... Mindy ... as in Mork & Mindy?

Monte - while Mark Harmon is married to Pam Dawber, his sister Kristin married Ricky Nelson and played herself on Ozzie and Harriet as "Kris" when Ricky got married. His other sister was married at one time to John DeLorean.

And who can forget those amazing years when Mark Harmon was the quarterback in 1972 and 1973 for UCLA.

Finally, his father Tom Harmon wom the Heisman trophy at the University of Michigan. With such a pedigree, no wonder NCIS is a success.

Steve--Some of the readers here won't know who Ricky Nelson was and weren't alive when Mark played for UCLA.

Didn't know about the DeLorean connection. Strange. Six degrees of separation and all that ... wonder which of them babysat for Kevin Bacon's parents.

Jamie Lee with Eddie Murphy in Trading Places...

Murphy with Cameron Diaz in Shrek...

Cameron with Tom Cruise in Vanilla Sky ... and ... cue drum roll ...

Cruise with Bacon in A Few Good Men

ok, lets play the six degrees of separation game

Mark Harmon to Kevin Pollak (Tom Hanks' From Earth to the Moon)

Kevin Pollak to Lucy Webb (current wife)

Lucy Webb to me (sort of surrogate member of the family)

Now, the drum roll. You may hold your applause.

Me to Monte. You are connected in four to Mark Harmon which makes five to Ziva.

Sorry but, every time I see Mark Harmon I see Ted Bundy. Mark Harmon played Ted in the made-for-tv-movie, "The Deliberate Stranger" which was based on Ann Rule's book "The Stranger Beside Me." http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090925/

He plays the part so well that he is forever "Ted" to me.
